King’s Project 2016

Day 6

Tuesday, July 12

Students continued working at various ministry sites on Tuesday.  Some painted, some planted, some picked up trash, some assisted in classrooms, and all made an impact on the communities where they served. One councilwoman visiting a site asked why everyone was so happy about doing all this work. When they told her it was because we were sharing the love of Jesus, she said “I want some of that.” One of the UK-USA interns shared the gospel and she prayed to receive Jesus in her life. It was such an encouragement for students to see seeds planted and the harvest of a new believer today!  After service projects, students returned for Day 2 of Camp of Champions.  More kids, more games, more fun, and more opportunities to share with kids who respond so enthusiastically to love and encouragement from our students. After a great dinner back at the barn, students took a hike to the top of Roseberry Topping and had evening worship from the top peak overlooking the beautiful view of the English countryside at sunset.  Psalm 19:1” The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.”  #KingsProject2016
