King’s Project 2016
Day 5
Monday, July 11
Early Monday students gave a short concert at the King’s Academy in Middlesbrough, a very traditional secondary school. Although our students were not able to talk directly to KA students, we pray that the message of the songs will soften their hearts to know that God loves them. Ministry days started Monday! For the next four days students will go out into the community to serve at various ministry sites. From cleaning and painting to planting gardens and picking litter, students will put hands and feet to the message that Jesus loves the people here in Northern England. The first day of Camp of Champions was held at 8 different sites. These events draw kids from surrounding neighborhoods to join teams and play games along with hearing a Bible story and getting lots of positive encouragement. Juniors led evening worship while Seniors enjoyed a special outing to celebrate their final mission trip with the Student choir. Pray for more opportunities for students to serve and share the love of Jesus through the remaining ministry days. #KingsProject2016
